The industry standard pricing for florists is typically 3 to 5 times the wholesale price per stem. We price differently at Growing Wild. Our prices are standard, regardless of the types of flowers you choose (though a few flowers such as calla lilies or peonies are so expensive we do have a small surcharge). We use a sizeable portion your total budget to shop for your wholesale flowers and hard goods. While we will use any flowers that you want, we do ask for some flexibility here should the flowers not be available or colors don’t work.
We are able to provide high-end flowers at reasonable prices due to our low overhead. Because the design team works out of a studio located on the farm, we do not have to incur the high costs associated with supporting a retail shop. Moreover, we primarily gain our customers through word-of-mouth thereby reducing the high cost of marketing. Finally, whenever possible, Barbara augments flowers bought from the wholesaler with flowers from her garden.
*** Please note that $2,000 (before tax and delivery) is the minimum for weddings during “high season” (April through October) and $1,200 for weddings during “off season” (November through March). ***

Consider renting your ceremony and reception arrangements and get more for your money. Table arrangements, especially, add up, depending on the size of your guest list. The costs for renting floral arrangements are typically about $10-$20 less than the purchase price.
With “Rent-an-arrangement” we supply great-looking containers so you don’t have to buy your own just for one day. We have lots of different styles of containers in silver, brass and glass for you to choose from.
We typically pick up all rentals at the end of the reception so that you are not responsible for returning them to us. If you wish to use the arrangements after the event let us know. We will arrange to get them from you the following week.
We reserve the right to pick up greens and flowers along with the containers. Please let us know in advance if you wish to keep the flowers so that we can plan accordingly. Be advised that you are responsible for all rental arrangements. If they are lost or taken, we will charge you our replacement cost.
If you opt to go with non-rentals (e.g. purchase them) we will buy containers with your budget dollars or you can provide your own and get them to us one week prior to the wedding.
Note: We sometimes incorporate silk flowers along with fresh flowers/greens when decorating arches and chuppahs. We do this to help keep down costs and prevent wiltage during hot weather.
